The School of Conceptual Photography MYPH is launching 525, a bilingual periodical devoted to contemporary Ukrainian photography and its role in the global visual landscape. The inaugural issue hit print in November 2025 and launched in Vienna, Australia. 525 seeks to foster a thoughtful space for exploring photography — both as an art form and as a tool for research and inquiry.
525 is designed as a vibrant platform for emerging Ukrainian photographers, bringing them into dialogue with international voices and spotlighting Ukraine’s creative talent on the global photography stage. The inaugural issue, titled „Glass and Steel“, seeks to trace and capture what is emerging from the raw experiences of trauma, loss, and hope forces that are shaping the next generation of Ukraine.
Personal projects hold a central place in the magazine, featuring works by Viktoria Tymonova, Masha Weisberg, Olesia Saienko, Anya Tsaruk, and Yulia Shybirkina. These artists’ photographic projects have already been showcased in exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad, through solo shows, awards, and festivals.
